Cohydrothermal carbonization of waste polyvinyl chloride and wood chip for dechlorination

The co-hydrothermal carbonization (Co-HTC) of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) film and wood chip (WC) was conducted at 200-260oC in an autoclave filled air or nitrogen for the chemical recycling wastes with dechlorination PVC. Effects Co-HTC temperature oxidation reaction during on decomposition behaviors were investigated. percentage atmosphere increased increasing reached 76.1% 260oC. decompositions several percent higher than those air. synergistic effect PVC WC observed 220oC N 2 . When performed air, suppressed, indicating increase hydrochar yield. yield determined from Cl content recovered after reaction. Under conditions, slightly temperature. At a 260oC, about 40%.
